The work is based on the different time scales of the logistic system, the mushroom hunter, and the growth of fungi in the matsutake trade. Three screens show how the market commercializes the mushroom in 48 hours and competes through the logistics system for the time before the mushroom rots. And how mushroom hunters, through generations of memories, follow the “migration” of the mushroom and harvest it before it matures.
